Desserts to share.....

Hi there,
Cooking is a passion of mine.............. I'm not the only one! Earlier this year a fellow bloggin friend Laura started up a cooking blog too! She is from Minnie, born and raised... we even when to school together since kindergarten! So today we are going to feature each other with some yummy dessert recipes to share!!



About a month ago I featured some Tasting Party collection from Pier1. I know I'm bias but I sure love to host parties with these serving pieces. (To sell them a little they are cute, dishwasher safe & impress your guests!)
Not only do we sell them, but they all come with some recipes to share..... here are too that are too fun to pass up! Have fun!

Banana Cream Delight:
1/2 cup graham crackers crumbs
2 tbls butter, melted
1 tsp sugar
1 box vanilla pudding
2 bananas, sliced
1 container whipped cream
*Mix cracker crumbs, melted butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Divide the cracker mixture equally between 12 glasses or small dessert dishes, press down. Make pudding as directed on box. Put 3-4 slices of banana over the crackers. Cover bananas with pudding. Chill until set. Finish with whipped topping and serve.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfait: (serve in parfait dish)
1/4 cup butter melted
1 tbsp honey
1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate wafers or graham crackers
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 finely chopped peanuts
1/2 choc syrup
1 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 8oz container whipped topping
Choc. shavings or chopped nuts (optional)
*Combine butter, honey and crushed wafers in mixing bowl. Fill each glass with one heaping teaspoon of mixture, about 1/2 full and pack down slightly. Add a few choc. chips and some chopped peanuts on the top. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Ass powdered sugar, milk and vanilla, mix together until well-beaten. Gently fold in whipped topping or whipped cream. Carefully spoon mixture into glasses. Garnish with shavings or chocolate drizzle.
