New found salad added....

Hello, last week I went to my Lioness annual Awards Night...we host it @ a local restaurant that has great food! Their salad has chick peas in it and Ive never really used them for cooking.
Either way last week I picked some canned chick peas up and planned on using them in something....
So for lunch today I added about 1/2 cup of them in a wrap! Yum, it was a great new found add to a wrap or salad. There was also a recipe on the can that I thought I would share:

Chick Peas and Tuna Salad:
1/4 cup chopped red onion
2 Tbsp chopped fresh Italian parsley
1 med stalk celery, chopped finely
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 can of chick peas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper, optional

In lrg bowl, toss onion, parsley, celery, garlic, chick peas and tuna. Stir together vinegar and oil, then stir into chick mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and chill before eating.

Keep on Cooking!!
