Christmas & some cooking

Well, the holiday has passed.... The Hubby & I really tried to focus on not getting too carried away with the thought of AC's "first" Christmas. We want to keep the generous spirit of the season, celebration and grace of our amazing God in mind.

Then working in retail I of course worked Saturday (Christmas Eve), then after ducking out early I went home to do my fav thing: host the family.

The table...

The Turkey.....& Yummy stuffing:

-4 stalks of celery sticks, chopped

1/2 lrg onion, chopped

6-8 cups bread chunks

-3 tbl butter

-1 tsp minced garlic

-Fresh sage, chopped

-Dash salt and pepper

*Warm sauce pan with butter and garlic. When melted add onion, sage, garlic and simmer until tender. Add bread, toss in mixture and dash with salt/pepper. Stuff into turkey right before cooking in oven.

AC really enjoyed it....

Was really more interested in the paper/boxes than gifts.... thank goodness we only bought him one gift! haha

Merry Christmas to all!! Looking forward to AC's birthday & a blessed New Year!

Keep on Cooking!
