Summer is here!
BLTs, pasta salad & sweet corn on the Cobb for dinner tonight.....
Perfect sweet corn cookin:
Fill your pot with water.
Add 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of sugar.
Drop in your corn.
Bring everything to a boil, making sure the sugar is dissolved in the water.
Boil for no longer than 8 minutes.
Remove from the water and let it cool enough for handling and eating.
Handle it and eat it.
Throw in anything pasta salad:
2 boxes of classic pasta salad (I use Betty Crockers, Suddenly salad)
small pkg pepperoni, slices in half
1 cup chopped broccoli
1/2 cup carrots, cut julienne
1/2 cup or more Italian dressing
Cook salad to box directions and mix all together....SO easy!
& for desert?? The hubby is such a doll and just ran to DQ.... Rash berry Truffle blizzard for me! I'm not sure though if he needed a fix or he was bring sweet to his prego wife???
