This is my FAV time of the year! We planned on going to a pumpkin patch today, but for some reason they are only open 3-7 on Mondays....it was 12. Either way we are traveling to visit Uncle John next week and will go pumpkin picking then.
Well, back to cooking:
Tonight we had chili and corn bread. I have to admit they were both mixes!
*Bearcreek Chili mix, 7 cups water, 7oz can tomato paste, 1 can of any kind of beans (rinsed) and 1 lb ground beef.
Bring water to a rolling boil, wisk in other ingredients and simmer for 20 mins.
*Jiffy cornbread mix, 1 egg, 1/3 cup milk. Mix all together, pour into cups and bake for 15 mins.
Not very inventive but hey... its MY BIRTHDAY & momma doesnt want to cook today! haha
