Blog block....

Hey there... wow its been a while & I 've been busy! Working is starting to pick up. Last night the Hubby came with to work an over night holiday merch set up! We worked 6pm-2am! I'm always excited to work these because the merch is new, Xmas and tons of people come to dig in and help! AC stayed the night with my parents & they could have not been more excited! My mom was bouncing off the walls when we got there and I'm not sure she even noticed us! haha

Either way speaking of my mom.... her and I toke a trip to CA last weekend! We headed out Friday for a weekend visit for my cousins wedding!! Here we are.....

With the Groom! It was wonderful to have a short trip away and spend time with some CA family!

Then it was back to MN for some fall weather.... so we thought! Its been in the 80s all week. But I did snap some pics of Nugget in a leaf pile this week....

This is my FAV time of the year! We planned on going to a pumpkin patch today, but for some reason they are only open 3-7 on Mondays....it was 12. Either way we are traveling to visit Uncle John next week and will go pumpkin picking then.

Well, back to cooking:

Tonight we had chili and corn bread. I have to admit they were both mixes!

*Bearcreek Chili mix, 7 cups water, 7oz can tomato paste, 1 can of any kind of beans (rinsed) and 1 lb ground beef.

Bring water to a rolling boil, wisk in other ingredients and simmer for 20 mins.

*Jiffy cornbread mix, 1 egg, 1/3 cup milk. Mix all together, pour into cups and bake for 15 mins.

Not very inventive but hey... its MY BIRTHDAY & momma doesnt want to cook today! haha
