French Toast Sunday.....
I'm not a huge breakfast person, but when I have the time(haha right?)I enjoy making french toast... but the out come all depends on what I have in the kitchen.... my fav is to make it with:
- Oatmeal bread, 4 slices
- 2 Organic eggs with omega 6
- Milk, about 1/2 cup
- 1 Tbs vanilla
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- sprinkle of brown sugar
Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar together and pour onto a flat baking pan or plate. Dip bread in mixture on both sides, then throw on med heat skillet for about 1 min on both sides.
I love to top with raspberries, blue berries or bananas... of course a little syrup too! My hubby likes the sweet syrup and choco sauce on his.
Try this for a quick weekend meal or cut all ingredients in half for a single week day treat....total prep & cook time 15 mins.
